Here is a video of Nick Reader (CSIA Level 4) enjoying some great conditions in the early part of the 2008 season. Nick works for the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance as an examiner and also works for the Soldeu Ski School.
In February this year, Soldeu was pounded by a massive snowfall. Snow was falling lightly from about 10 in the morning but by 1pm the flakes were so big and plentiful that it was difficult to see. The lifts were struggling to stay open as the “lifties” could not keep them clear! By the last run down at the end of the day snorkels were needed.
